Carpool guide for parents
Share practice rides without another group-chat thread.
Coordinate practice pickups, game-day rides and parent driving turns in a private RideTurns pool.
Choose a pool for the group
Use a team or activity name that parents recognize. Invite only the families arranging rides together. RideTurns is for adults coordinating their own children’s transport, not for matching children with unknown drivers.
Plan the trip in both directions
Practice arrival and the return journey have different times. Create separate drop-off and pickup rides and confirm the meeting place with parents. A field entrance or gym door can matter as much as the venue name.
Use repeating rides for the regular week
Create recurring rides for predictable practices. When a coach changes a session, update the plan and confirm it directly with the affected families. Check whether you are changing one occurrence or the recurring ride.
Leave a note for that day
A day note can explain a changed entrance or equipment reminder. Avoid adding medical details or sensitive information about children. Families in the pool can see the note.
Make the return plan explicit
Before leaving, confirm who is driving home, which children are riding and who will meet them. Optional driver location sharing can help coordinate arrival; it is not emergency monitoring or a substitute for direct communication.
Try it with your pool
RideTurns works in your browser. The iPhone and Android store releases are coming soon. AI assistant connections are optional; you do not need an AI account to organize rides.
